Upfort Home includes identity theft insurance for the primary account holder. This coverage is provided by Assurant, under a group policy issued to Aura, and is included as part of your Upfort Home subscription. It offers up to $1 million in coverage for eligible identity theft-related losses, with no deductible.
Am I eligible for insurance coverage?
To be eligible for insurance, you must be 18 years or older. This requirement is confirmed either during onboarding or through your agreement to our Terms of Service.
Insurance coverage is only available to primary account holders who purchase Upfort Home directly or receive it as a benefit through a partner. If you were invited by someone else, you are not covered by the insurance policy. However, you’ll still have access to key protections like Inbox Defender, Browser Firewall, Password Manager, and Cybersecurity training courses.
How do I know if I’m covered?
Once you’re on the dashboard, you’ll see an “Insurance Active” tile in the bottom-right corner if you’re covered. This includes a quick summary of your coverage and a link to View Summary of Benefits that takes you to our detailed benefits page.
If you’re an invited user, instead of the insurance card, you’ll see a “Get Covered Today” tile. Clicking the button will redirect you to our landing page, where you can purchase full coverage, which includes coverage by this policy.
