How to download the Browser Firewall on Edge

  1. On your Employee Portal, navigate to the Downloads tab.

  2. Select Protect Edge or Download Again in cases where the account has previously used the Browser Firewall.

  3. This will redirect you to the Edge add-ons for the Upfort Shield extension. Select Get

  4. A pop-up will appear asking you to confirm that you want to add the extension.  It explains how the extension interacts with the browser.  Want more details about this? Click here. Select Add Extension

  5. A new page will open with details about how to log into the extension.



  6. Click on the Upfort Browser Firewall from the extension area of the browser - to the right of your search bar!



  7. Clicking here will unfurl the extension.  Select Log in



  8. This will open up the login page to your Browser Firewall. Log in using your Upfort Shield credentials. Once you're logged in, you are being protected.

  9. A new page opens with congratulations and a link to navigate to the employee portal.
