How to download the Browser Firewall on Google Chrome

  1. On your Employee Portal, navigate to the Downloads tab.

  2. Select Protect Chrome or Download Again in cases where the account has previously used the extension.Screen Shot 2023-12-08 at 15.10.55.png
  3. This will redirect you to the Chrome store for the Upfort Shield Browser Firewall. Select Add to Chrome

  4. A pop up will appear asking you to confirm that you want to add the extension.  It explains how the extension interacts with the browser.  Want more details about this? Click here. Select Add extension

  5. A new page will open with details about how to log into the extension.

  7. Click on the "P" in the extension area of the bowser - to the right of your search bar! Clicking here will unfurl the extension.  Select "Login"

  8. This will open up the login page to your Browser Firewall. Login using your Upfort Shield credentials. Once you're logged in, you are being protected.Screen Shot 2023-12-08 at 14.56.53.png
