- On your Employee Portal, navigate to the Browser Firewall tab.
Note: If your organization has disabled the Browser Firewall, this tab will not be visible in your Employee Portal.
- Select Protect Chrome or Download Again in cases where the account has previously used the extension.
- This will redirect you to the Chrome store for the Upfort Shield Browser Firewall. Select Add to Chrome
- A pop-up will appear asking you to confirm that you want to add the extension. It explains how the extension interacts with the browser. Want more details about this? Click here. Select Add extension
- A new page will open with details about how to log into the extension.
- Click on the puzzle piece in the upper right-hand corner of the browser to open your extensions. Find the Upfort Browser Firewall and pin it
- Click on the Upfort logo in the extension area of the browser, to the right of your search bar! Clicking here will unfurl the extension. Select "Log in".
- This will open up the login page to your Browser Firewall. Log in using your Upfort Shield credentials. Once you're logged in, you are being protected.
- A new page opens with congratulations and a link to navigate to the employee portal.
