Setting up Two-Factor Authentication for Upfort Shield (Not Enforced by Admin)

You want to set up two-factor authentication to access your Upfort Shield account.  This is a great step to being even more cyber safe.

  1. You'll need to head to your "My Account" page.
  2. On the right of the page, you'll see the option to Set Up 2FA



  3. Clicking "Set Up 2FA" will open a page with some more information about the security benefits of 2FA.



  4. Once you've selected "Set Up 2FA Now" you will be directed to a screen to set up the two-factor authentication.



  5. Once the correct code has been entered, and "Confirm Code" has been clicked, you're 2FA will be all set! Each time you log into Shield, you will be prompted to add the code listed in the application.
