Guardian Manual Install Guide (Windows)

Follow the steps in this article to install Guardian on your device.

 

  1. Firstly, head to the Guardian tab in your Upfort Admin Portal and click on Installation Guide in the top right.

     

  2. Select Windows for your operating system.
     

     

  3. Download the Guardian Installation File.
     

     

  4. This will download the UpfortGuardianInstaller file. Open it to start the installation.
     

     

  5. Once Upfort Guardian opens, select Install. and then Next.
     

     

  6. Check the box to agree to the Terms of Service, and click Next.
     

     

  7. Verify that the Fleet URL and Enrollment Token values match what's visible on the Guardian Install page of the portal, and click on Install. 
     

     

  8. Guardian will then install on your device.
     

     

  9. Once the Installation is completed, click on Next.
     

     

  10. You'll then see the Installation Complete screen. Click on Close to close the installer. 
     


You can now track all alerts from the Guardian page in the Upfort Admin Portal.
